First and foremost the Future Map Gift Cards are gift cards for our store, secondly they provide an expression of interest in a specific area so we know which area to prioritize.

Once we receive enough interest in a specific area we will begin developing the map. Once the map is ready for sale, we'll send you early notification when the map becomes available for purchase with a discount code for your chosen area (as long as you're signed up for our email list).

Please note that a purchase of a Future Map Gift Card for a specific area does not guarantee that we'll complete development of this map or that you'll be able to purchase it. We reserve the right to stop development of this map at any time, regardless of the number of customers who have expressed interest in a particular area.

You will need to purchase a gift card for each area you are interested in, you can do this by adding multiple gift cards to your basket.

Typically it will take us 1-2 weeks to make your order and prepare it for shipping. Note that larger and custom orders may take longer, and this time will vary depending our our current orders.

You can add Custom Engraving (text added to the back of the map) or Customize Your Map (modifications to the map) by adding the options included in each map's product listing. If you have any questions please send us a message here and we can help you out.

General care for our finished and unfinished items is to dust them regularly. They can be wiped with a damp cloth if required, please avoid getting the wood wet.

Our finished products are finished with an orange oil and beeswax finish, which can be reapplied if required. Contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your piece.

Most of our products can be displayed either on a shelf or hung on a wall. Generally our products have a keyhole slot for a single fastener. Our larger pieces may have additional keyhole slots or other hanging hardware. 

Please note it is your responsibility to ensure that the hardware is fastened securely, Beaufort Range Designs is not responsible for damage due improper hanging.
