About this Map

We are excited to be able to do custom maps for you. These maps are your own, made specifically based on your input.

About our Maps

Our maps are designed by hand in house, they are artistic representatives of local trails and topography. Each map is laser engraved on a unique old growth cedar board, colors and grain vary piece to piece. Our cedar is kiln dried but wood is a natural product and can shrink or expand over time, change its color even.

The maps are laser engraved on a 40 mm (1 3/4") thick panel of local cedar and framed with a black solid wood frame. A hanger slot is routed into the back for easy hanging

Custom Map Process 

Below are the details on the process and what you can expect when purchasing a custom map.

Process

1. Purchase Custom Map.
2. We will design your map, typically this takes about a week.
3. Once your design is ready we will provide you a proof for approval. Your order includes one revision after this proof.
4. Once the design is complete and you approve it we will build and ship your custom map.

Conditions

• This is a custom item designed and made just for you as a result this is a final sale item, there are no refunds available. 
• Please ensure that the details provided above are as complete as possible prior to order submission to allow for us to proceed with you order as soon as possible.
• Please monitor the email you provide with your order for emails from beaufortrange.ca with clarifications, proof, or other order details. We will contact you if we believe the Trail Network option you selected in incorrect prior to starting the design with options.
• Maps are developed based on publicly available data (e.g. Google Maps, Trail Forks, etc.), trails or other details that are not available publicly need to be provided or will not be included.
• We use meters for units on our maps.
• Changes after order submission may result in additional time and cost.
• More than one revision after the proof has been provided will incur additional charges based on the time required, major changes at proof approval will also incur extra charges. Payment is due prior to the additional revisions starting.
• 1 week is provided for your approval of the proof prior to us starting on your map, time beyond this will delay delivery.
• Maps are available in the same sizes and styles as our current selection.
• Landscape or portrait orientation will be determined by the design, if you would like your map in a specific orientation please indicate which one with your order we'll do our best to accommodate.
• There are many locations around the world that have the same or similar names. Please include a link to the specific location or trail to ensure we get the right location.
• Beaufort Range Designs Inc. retains full rights to the completed design.
